Walks around Melbourne

Many of my recommendations for my clients include getting out and doing more exercise and also getting outdoors more as the benefits assist a wide a variety of conditions!

A great way to do this is by getting outdoors and going for a walk or a hike on the weekend.

Not only does this get you moving, but you get to see something you haven't seen before, you get to spend time in nature which is supportive to our nervous system and mood and is a great way to spend a day on the weekend. Most of the time, we pack a picnic and enjoy some lunch whilst we are there also.

There is something about going on a hike which gets me so excited; the sensation of peace and lack of noise, the sounds of nature, feeling like I am an explorer and also the picnic lunch is always quite amazing!

As a mobile naturopath, I am lucky enough to visit many suburbs of Melbourne and like to explore new places so I have made a list of some of the walks or hikes we have done in some regions/suburbs of Melbourne. Some are much shorter than others and I will continue to add to this list but if you were looking for somewhere to get out and moving amongst nature, there may be an idea here for you!
